Yabbr acquisition of Trycall

GRM LAW recently advised Yabbr on its acquisition of telecommunications company Trycall.

GRM LAW was lead M&A and legal advisor on the transaction.

The acquisition involved the purchase of the Trycall business from four separate Trycall entities and a 100% share purchase of Trycall (Aust) Pty Ltd.  Yabbr Pty Ltd effectively acquired the entire business as well as the trading entity which enabled Yabbr to continue to run the Trycall business following completion with minimal fuss.

Trycall enables its customers to call or message thousands of clients per day utilising their automated calling and messaging service.

Whether its appointment reminders, announcements, lead generation and birthdays being sent out to customers by one client or co-ordinating upcoming events, donors thankyou messages and meeting reminders, Trycall has the ability to connect.

From shut down notices and notifications, payment reminders and emergency notifications to open home follow-ups, lead generation and keeping in touch with landlords and tenants, Trycall is able to assist a large number of industries to contact their client and prospects.

With the successful acquisition of Trycall, Yabbr has been able to increase its already broad service offering which includes the ability for its clients to:

·         connect with their customers across 40+ languages using Yabbr's integrated translation service

·         empower their teams to engage members and donors directly via SMS, Web Chat or Email

·         aggregate all communications mediums into a single platform, including Webchat, SMS, Email, Social and Voice

·         utilise a range of tools to help engage Customers and keep them engaged

·         setup hundreds of Agents, but only be charged for those that login

·         receive inbound communications, but also to send outbound communications via SMS, Email and Social Media

·         use Yabbr’s chatbots to answer simple questions, and improve staff productivity

This acquisition was made possible with the expert assistance, guidance and advice from GRM LAW.
